Student of the Week – June 1, 2016

Congratulations to Turner Ramsay who was named Student of the Week at Wednesday’s all-school community breakfast. Turner is a 10th grade Cycling athlete who comes to KMS from Rutland, VT. Turner was nominated for this award by English teacher Pala Mostoller who commented that she has “made significant improvement in her writing, and offers very insightful commentary to class discussion.” History teacher Courtney O’Keefe added, “Turner has done really great work in U.S. History. Her answers have gotten more thoughtful over the past few weeks and she has come in before and after class to ask questions. She always comes in with a positive attitude and is a great student to have in class.” Science teacher Lee Elliott shared, “Turner is a great choice! She has a positive attitude and adds a great deal to our kind of quirky morning biology class!” Considering this is the height of Turner’s competition season, earning this award at this time of year is particularly impressive. Way to go, Turner; way to finish strong!
