Program Details

The Future Stars program will emphasize fun and play in skiing activities that promote motor-skill development in agility, balance and coordination; an appreciation of and passion for the sport of skiing; and a love of the outdoors. This is a non-competitive program that will promote teamwork and respect for others. Throughout the season there will be a number of ski club community events for athletes and families to socialize and develop cohesive connections in support of their children participating in the program.

ALL Future Stars must ski in the month of December in order to be in the program.  Future Star athletes cannot miss all of December and the Holiday Camp;  this will make them ineligible to participate in the program.

FIRST TURNS

KSC/KMS First Turns Program

  • The KSC/KMS First Turns 4/5 year old ski day is for those who want to get a head start in an organized ski program and is based on the principles of the Future Star program.  Now that you’ve shown your little one your love of skiing, we’re here to help them fall in love with it in a friendly encouraging environment.  Participants will ski with a parent and KSC/KMS Coach.  The KSC/KMS Coach will work with families to ensure a perfect mix of fun, skill development, safety, skier etiquette and developing mountain management skills.  We ask that participants are able to comfortably ski all terrain on Ramshead in control and can safely stop when needed.

If you are interested in participating in the First Turns Program please contact Chuck or Tyler Hughes.
