  3. Register for membership in the relevant competition organization for your child’s program. This is a good guide to start from:

    2. USASA (All competing snowboard and freeskiing athletes): USASA is the national governing body for snowboarding and grassroots freeskiing in the United States. All athletes competing in snowboarding and freeskiing must be members of USASA.

    3. VARA (all competing alpine athletes) Vermont Alpine Racing Association is the governing body for alpine ski racing in Vermont. All alpine athletes (U10 and up) who plan to race must join.

Being able to look up all of the parents correct cell phone numbers at a moment’s notice during the program is critical. Also please use the most updated email since that is the main form of communication program directors and coaches use throughout the season.

  7. A helmet is mandatory.

  8. Participation in the KSC/KMS Work Obligation Program.

  9. Killington Unlimited Season Pass or Killington Beast 365 Pass.

  10. Membership to the Killington Ski Club is mandatory for all program participants.              Killington Mountain School (KMS) and the Killington Ski Club (KSC) are separate entities that work closely together to offer Development Programs to our young athletes: KMS manages and coaches the Devo. Programs and the Competition and Race Events. KSC provides Ski Club building access, guidance, scholarships, and social opportunities.               Enrolled athletes in the Devo Programs must be members of the Killington Ski Club (KSC):

    • As the Ski Club currently has a 1-2 year new membership wait list, KSC offers a Junior Single Membership to athletes enrolled in Devo Programs whose families are on the KSC wait list for full membership.  Junior Single Membership annual dues are $110.
