Killington Mountain School Alpine athletes Bobby Ryan and Brad Underhill were named to the Eastern Regional Training Group for 2016-2017. Both were named based on age group world ranking, and for being in the top 50 in Super G and Downhill.

The Eastern Regional Training Group (ERTG) explains that their organization aims to “bring the best performing, top ranked and most dedicated juniors together for head to head training opportunities with pace throughout the year. Head to head competition is the main performance criteria for qualification to the USST. So by providing these types of training opportunities we can tune the athletes into the on demand performance standard of the USST.” In addition, “ERTG projects will help develop skills and performance, creating the opportunities for athletes to advance along the development pathway and be best prepared for the next levels of competition.”

KMS is extremely proud of both young men for being named to this group and looks forward to watching their progression and growth in the season ahead!
