Black Bear Award – June 8, 2016

Congratulations to Sam Hayden and Pasha Aksoy who were given the Black Bear Award at Wednesday’s all-school community breakfast. Sam and Pasha were nominated for this award by art teacher Eric Kuntz because of their work with Betty Hughes from Killington Elementary’s Pre-K program. The boys worked with Betty both as a part of their art class with Eric and during their own free time to create an end-of-year slide show for the Pre-K students and families. The finished product was awesome and well-received by all. Sam and Pasha went above and beyond to ensure that the project was special, leading Eric to nominate them for this honor. Way to go guys!
